Coach Josh Fusco

Coach Tony MacAulay was announced as Team Maryland's President of Hockey Operations and 18U Head Coach for 2022-23 season. Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Tony MacAulay played at the Junior A level with the Maritime Junior A Hockey League and was drafted by Sudbury Wolves in 1998. Tony went on to be a standout defenseman with the Dalhousie University Men's Hockey Team before graduating in 1994 with a degree in Sports Administration and Management. Tony played 3 season professionally in the ECHL including Division 2 with the Varnamo GIK Tigers, Sweden.

Tony's extensive coaching career includes assistant coach for the East Hants Junior A Penguins and Saint Mary's University. Tony spent 5 year coaching professionally in the ECHL, working closely with NHL & AHL hockey teams developing players within the Minor League.

Tony has served as Head Coach and General Manager for the Washington Junior Capitals, the Baltimore Junior Bandits, America's High School Showcase- Team DC and Hockey Director for Tri City Eagles. Entering his 20th year at Dematha Catholic High School, Tony resides as Head Coach of the Dematha Hockey Program, leading the Stags to 5 consecutive MSHL State Championships to win the Title 4 times from 1997-2001. Tony has been named 

Coach of the Year by the Washington Post 2001 and Mid Atlantic Prep League in 2014. 

Coach MacAulay has quickly come to play an integral role at Reider Hockey and we could not be more honored to have him join our coaching team.

Ray Kizzie was announced as the Head Coach for Team Maryland Peewee Minors for the 22/23 season.                           Prior to coaching, he played two years of junior hockey before enrolling at Dallas Baptist University where he captained the team for three years. He graduated with his degree in Sports Management in 2015 and as the school’s all-time leader in assists and points for a defenseman, and the school’s all-time leader in games played.  

Originally from Dallas, TX, the USA Hockey level 4 coach is experienced at coaching various levels from squirt through junior hockey. Accomplishments include multiple regular season, playoffs, and tournament championships along with guiding players to the next level. During his young coaching career, Coach Kizzie has coached and developed 9 players committed or playing NCAA, and 1 in the WHL.

Coach Kizzie started coaching youth hockey in 2015 as an assistant coach for the DJHA Penguins 05 team. With DJHA, the teams went to four straight league finals, winning two in a row. In addition to coaching travel hockey, he also coached high school hockey for Grapevine/Colleyville. Accomplishments with GC hockey include State runner up in 2018, league championship for JV in 2019, city and league championship for varsity in 2021. Between 2015-2018, Coach Kizzie spent time coaching Dallas Baptist University part time as an assistant coach.

The past three seasons, Coach Kizzie has coached U19 T1 and U16 T2 hockey for the Dallas Stars Elite Girls program. During this time, he also was an assistant coach for the Texas Tigers Bantam Major. The 2021/22 season, he added to his experience by becoming a volunteer coach for junior hockey Texas Brahmas NA3HL.

Josh Fusco is the Head Coach/General Manager of Team Maryland (EHL) and an Assistant Coach for the Maryland Black Bears (NAHL). Josh has plenty of coaching experience and is a certified level 4 coach with USA Hockey. Josh has held the title of Head Coach for the WBS Knights (EHL), WBS Knights (NA3HL), and Southlake High School (JV).

Over his playing career, Josh played five years of Junior Hockey, which led to a college career at Finlandia University (NCAA Division III). After college, he went on to play professionally in Europe and semi-professionally in various leagues around the United States.

Josh continues to work with elite NCAA Division I & III hockey players and coaches younger players individually with skill development and off-ice strength and conditioning programs.
